Small stuff would virtually be impossible to take back apart. We use blue Loctite on truck pinions and U-joint bolts.You can stay with Blue which would require the lower force to break loose than the Red when cold, but have a higher resistance to heat. Only use blue loctite unless you are forsure never going to take off again.Blue works well if you have a screw or bolt that is backing out because of vibration or similar external or internal forces.However, you must clean out holes of both shavings and oil plus make sure your screws are not going to bottem out. Gotta use Red on them if you want any Loctite help. The red products are so powerful that they require heat to be disassembled. You can check the Permatex 24200 and read what people say about it.
